

WHITE RIBBON TUG O’ WAR CUP
Bragging rights are up for grabs again in the annual White Ribbon
Tug O’ War Cup on Friday 25 November.
Last year, more than 200 local business, community and
emergency services representatives battled it out to send the
message that violence against women is unacceptable.

More than 1,000 local residents
have taken the step to become
Australian citizens at Council’s monthly
Citizenship Ceremonies over the past
12 months. New citizens, like Ruba
Alkhouri (right), come from across
the globe including Bangladesh, Italy,

along to the Community Safety Expo.
Find out how to perform life-saving acts like CPR and hear

The day will also include kids’ activities, giveaways and the
chance to hop into an emergency vehicle.
